Follow these steps to remove FlashGet BHO from your machine. Begin by backing up your registry and your system, and/or setting a Restore Point, to prevent trouble if you make a mistake.

1. Remove the running process with Task Manager:
   flashget.exe
   You need a powerful utility to protect your PC against harmful and unnecessary background processes.
    
2. Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:
   msdoh.dll
   programfilesdir+\flashget\jccatch.dll
   programfilesdir+\flashget\fgiebar.dll
    
3. Remove these registry items (if present) with RegEdit:
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{a5366673-e8ca-11d3-9cd9-0090271d075b}
